Getting paid
Download statements and AR reports from Quay's Statements page
In Quay, open Statements, pick a company and a date, then click Download PDF, Print or Download CSV; tick several companies for one ZIP, or use the Reports tab for AR aging.
Quay is a Shopify app that enforces per-company credit limits and late-payment rules at B2B checkout for wholesale merchants.

Download one company’s statement
-
In Quay, open Statements. The With balance tab lists the companies with a balance. All companies lists every company. To find one by name, type it in Search companies by name.
-
Click the company’s row. Its statement opens beside the list.
-
Click the date button to the right of the download buttons and choose the document:
- Balance on a date: what the company owes on Today, End of last month or a date you pick.
- Activity over a period: every order and payment in This month, Last month, Last 3 months, Year to date, Last 12 months or a range you pick.
- Unpaid orders: the orders still unpaid, placed in This week, Last week, This month, Last month or a range you pick.
Click Apply.
-
Click Download PDF, Print or Download CSV.
If your Quay plan doesn’t cover the company, Quay shows Upgrade plan instead of the download buttons.
To print a phone number or email address for this company, click the company’s name and address on the statement. In This company’s details, type them and click Save. The company’s name and address come from Shopify.
Download statements for several companies
- In Statements, tick the box beside each company.
- Choose the date as above and click Apply.
- Click Download PDF, Print or Download CSV. Each button shows how many companies you ticked, for example Download PDF (3). PDF and CSV come as one ZIP file with a document for each company. Print opens all the statements in one print window.
A PDF can take a while to prepare, for one company or many. Quay then shows “Still preparing your download. It’ll show up in Downloads when it’s ready.” The Downloads button at the top of Statements shows how many files are waiting. Click it to download them.
Download an AR report
- In Statements, open the Reports tab.
- Under Report type, choose Aging summary by company or Outstanding orders by company.
- Click the date button, choose Today, End of last month or a date you pick, and click Apply.
- Click Download PDF, Print or Download CSV.
Set up Document settings, once
- In Quay, open Statements and click Document settings.
- Fill in Your company details, Your payment details and the Footer note. Add your logo under Logo and pick a Color.
- Click Save in the bar at the top of the page. Quay shows “Document settings saved”. Every statement from then on prints them.
Store credit on statements
When a company holds store credit in Shopify, its statement prints a Store credit line marked “for future orders”. The line doesn’t lower the balance.
To subtract the credit from what the company owes instead, open Document settings and, under Amount to pay, tick Subtract store credit from the amount due, then click Save. Under a balance above zero, statements then print Store credit to apply and Amount to pay. Quay does not touch the credit in Shopify: when the payment arrives, debit the store credit in Shopify yourself. Until you do, Shopify still shows that amount as unpaid on the order, and the buyer can spend the same credit again. The unpaid amount can also go overdue, and your policy then acts on it.
What happens next
The file downloads to your computer, ready to send to the buyer or keep for your books. A file still being prepared waits under Downloads at the top of Statements.
