Quay: B2B Sales Rep Portal

How it works

You add reps and give them companies

In your Shopify admin, you invite a rep by email and assign the B2B companies they look after. A rep sees only their own companies and orders only for them. A rep you make a manager sees and orders for every company.

Reps sign in with an emailed link

The rep opens the portal on your store's own address and signs in with a link we email them. There's no password to create.

Orders go into Shopify at your prices

The rep picks the company and its location, adds products at the prices of your B2B catalogs, and places the order. In the app's settings you choose what happens next: Shopify emails the buyer an invoice with a link to pay or use their payment terms, or the order goes straight into Shopify as Payment pending. An order that goes straight in uses the location's payment terms if it has any, and Quay doesn't email the buyer.

You see who sold what

A report in the app shows each rep's sales for any period up to a year. A rep gets the orders they placed in the portal. If a company has several reps, you mark one as primary. From the day you assign the company to that rep, they also get the orders the company places in your store on its own and the orders a manager places for it. On the Growth and Pro plans you can download the report as a CSV file, for example to work out commissions.

What it needs

Any Shopify plan with B2B, with your wholesale customers set up as companies. Reps order for those companies, not for retail customers. Each company needs at least one contact in Shopify, because the order goes in a contact's name. If your online store is password-protected, reps need the store password to open the portal. There is a free plan for one rep and two companies; paid plans, billed through Shopify, cover more.

Who makes it

Quay, the makers of Quay: B2B Credit Limits, which applies the credit limits you set for B2B companies at checkout. The two apps work on their own: you don't need one to use the other. How the Rep Portal handles your store's data is in its privacy policy, and the rules of using it are in its terms. Questions go to hello@quayhq.com.
