Reports moved into Statements

Reports is now a tab of Statements. Open Statements and you’ll see two tabs: Statements and Reports. Reports opens the same two reports as before, Aging summary by company and Outstanding orders by company, at the same address, so a bookmark still works.

Why: we’re building payment reminders, and they will get their own item in Quay’s menu, where Reports was. Shopify folds an app’s menu into View more once it has more than seven items, so Reports moved into Statements to keep every item in sight.

Download PDF, Print and Download CSV sit in a row above the report, beside the date, instead of in the page header. Document settings is at the top of both tabs, and so is Downloads whenever a file is waiting.

On a phone, a report now fits the screen. The whole page shrinks to your phone’s width instead of scrolling sideways, so the text is small.

A few things that haven’t changed:

What the two reports show, and how to read an aging report, is in accounts receivable for Shopify wholesale. The reports themselves shipped in aging and outstanding-orders reports as PDF and CSV.

There is nothing to switch on.
