New: a Telegram message when a block gets overridden
A credit block stops your buyers at checkout. It doesn’t stop your own staff.
Anyone in your admin who can complete a draft order can complete one Quay would block: Shopify shows the block, then offers a button to proceed anyway. There’s no permission that turns that button off.
So Quay makes it visible instead. Connect a Telegram group, and every order that gets past a block sends a message there within seconds — order number and amount, the company, why it should have been blocked, who placed it, and a link to the order. Same when an order is edited upward past what the company can take.
To set it up: Settings → Telegram alerts → Connect, then pick your group. About a minute, and nothing needed from us. Disconnect in the same place any time.
Three things stay as they were. Your buyers see nothing new — nothing about this is buyer-facing. Limits, policies and blocks behave exactly as before. And nothing goes to Telegram until you connect a chat; after that, each message carries the details above (what we send).
One note so the quiet doesn’t confuse you: an order paid on the spot adds no new debt, so an over-limit block on it stays quiet. A company on hold alerts either way, paid or not.
