New: statements and reports in your brand color

Pick a color under Statements, Document settings, Color. Press one of the four presets (Navy, Black, Charcoal, Red), type a six-digit hex code such as #C70909, or click the swatch in the field to open a color picker. A small sample under the field shows the result as you go. Save, and every document you make from then on uses it.

Where it shows. The title bar at the top, the table header rows, the line above the balance, the edge of the payment details box and, in a document with more than one currency, the currency headings, on every statement and report: the PDF you download, the preview on the Statements and Reports pages, a printed page and, if you share statements with buyers, the statement they download from their account. CSV files have no colors and are unchanged.

Grey shading with your own color. With a color other than navy, shaded rows and divider lines turn a neutral grey, so they never clash with it; navy keeps its own blue-grey shades. Overdue due dates stay red and bold whatever you pick, so a red title bar never hides which orders are late.

Too light is refused. The title bar and table headers print white text on your color, so Save refuses a color too light to read white text on, and the field says so as soon as you type it. Pick a darker shade.

What stays the same. Until you pick a color, every document prints in navy exactly as before. Editing your company details, bank details or footer keeps your color. A file you made before a change keeps the old color: press Download PDF again for a new one. The earlier file stays in your Downloads list next to the new one until it expires after 7 days.
